Oregon Sports Injury Epidemiology Group
In parallel with the
establishment of Exercise Research Associates, starting in 1986, a small group
of four researchers interested in the epidemiology of sports injuries came
together at the University of Oregon. For over 30 years, even though they moved
on from Oregon, these four individuals continued working together while
scattered over the globe to produce a large amount of research on the
epidemiology of sports injuries, a good deal of it in conjunction with or under
the auspices of ExRA. From 1986 through 2018 they
produced approximately 130 refereed journal articles, 12 books, 43 book
chapters, over 140 oral and poster presentations, 52 abstracts and 14 lay
publications. To view the comprehensive list of the work of the Oregon Sports
Injury Epidemiology Group, click here.
